What are the benefits?
This is a series of posts related to our mobile learning session at the GMU/DAU E-Learning Symposium – Easy/Free ways to publish mobile learning content
The benefits of m-learning revolve around several affordances of the mobile device. These benefits include:
- It’s ubiquitous (*everyone has a mobile phone*)
- Contextual learning – learners can access content while performing a task
- Resource and data capturing – learners can not only consume content, they can create content using their mobile devices (capture images, video, audio)
Anytime/anywhere access – most people carry their mobile device(s) with them everywhere
